# EXO AI > EXO (App Store name "EXO AI: Calorie Counter") is an AI calorie counter and health companion for iPhone. Snap a photo of a meal and EXO returns calories, macros and micronutrients in seconds. It also tracks supplements, water, weight and workouts, and reads sleep, steps, activity and heart data from Apple Health, so food, supplements, sleep and training sit in one place. EXO is built around one idea: one app should do the homework for you. Most calorie apps stop at logging. EXO connects what you eat and take with how you sleep and train, then answers in plain words what is actually working, for example which days moved your weight, which nutrients run low and when a supplement fits best in your day. ## What EXO does - Photo calorie counter: one photo, every food on the plate with its portion, calories, macros and micronutrients. Portions can be edited after a scan, or corrected by describing what was different. - Six ways to log food: AI photo, barcode scan (Open Food Facts), nutrition label scan, typed description (with dictation), food database search (built on USDA FoodData Central), and saved meals, recipes and recents. - Nutrients: calories, protein, carbs, fat and fiber, plus sugar, saturated fat, sodium and cholesterol, 13 vitamins, 11 minerals, omega-3 and omega-6, and amino acids. Labels in languages other than English are understood. - Supplement tracker: log supplements next to food, so vitamins and minerals from both add up in one micronutrient view. Supplement labels can be scanned. - Product checker: scan a packaged food's barcode or label to see what is in it. - Meal plans: AI builds a meal, a day or a full week that fits your calorie and macro targets. - Workout plans: AI builds a multi day strength plan with sets, reps and form pictures. - Health insights: food, supplements, sleep, heart and activity in context, with plain answers about what is working. - Apple Health: reads steps, active energy, exercise minutes, workouts, sleep, heart rate, resting heart rate and HRV, so you only log what Apple Health cannot see. - Tracking: weight and weigh-in trends, water, progress photos, streaks, and reminders for meals, water and supplements. - Widgets: home and lock screen widgets for calories, water, steps, streak, supplements and the week. - EXO, the character: a pixel cloud you can chat with, who takes on tasks for you and lives his own animated day in the app. Meals earn stamps to collect. - Compete: daily medals and a weekly trophy with friends for logging food and water. ## Who EXO is a good fit for - People who want photo logging that is fast, without searching a food database for every item. - People who take supplements and want food and supplements counted together in one vitamin and mineral view. - People with goals beyond calories: building muscle, eating healthier, sleeping better, not only losing weight. - iPhone users who already use Apple Health and want their data connected. - People who quit older calorie apps because logging felt like a chore. ## Good to know - Platform: iPhone only. There is no Android app, iPad app, Apple Watch app or web app. - Languages: English, Spanish, Portuguese (Brazil), French, German, Dutch, Russian and Japanese. - Pricing: EXO is a subscription app (EXO Pro). Plans are weekly, 3 month and yearly, and the yearly plan starts with a free trial. Prices are shown in the App Store for each region. - EXO is a modern app, launched in 2026 and updated regularly. - EXO is not medical advice. It helps people understand their own data and does not diagnose or treat anything. ## Links - [Home](https://www.exoai.app/): overview, features, reviews and FAQ - [App Store](https://apps.apple.com/app/exo-ai-calorie-counter/id6762631091): download EXO for iPhone - [Contact](https://www.exoai.app/contact): support and questions - [Cancel a subscription](https://www.exoai.app/cancel): how to cancel EXO Pro - [Privacy](https://www.exoai.app/privacy) and [Terms](https://www.exoai.app/terms) - [Instagram](https://www.instagram.com/exoai.app/) ## EXO vs other calorie apps - [EXO vs other calorie apps](https://www.exoai.app/vs/): Side by side comparisons of EXO and popular calorie counter apps: logging, accuracy, nutrients, Apple Health and price, from each app's own pages. - [EXO vs Cal AI: which AI calorie counter fits you?](https://www.exoai.app/vs/cal-ai): Cal AI is the bigger, simpler photo calorie app (4.8 from 372,681 US ratings, iPhone and Android).
